Solemn Eucharist with the Imposition of Ashes

The glory of these forty days we celebrate with songs of praise,
for Christ, by whom all things were made, himself has fasted and has prayed.

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent: a time of fasting, prayer, self-examination and preparation for the Easter Feast.

Join us as we begin our Lenten journey for a Solemn Choral Eucharist that includes the imposition of ashes, an ancient sign of repentance that serves as a reminder of our mortality. The Cathedral Choir sings. Incense will be used. Available in-person and online.
