O sacred Head, now wounded,
with grief and shame weighed down,
now scornfully surrounded
with thorns, Thine only crown.
O sacred Head, what glory,
what bliss till now was Thine!
Yet, though despised and gory,
I joy to call Thee mine.

We gather as a community on Good Friday for this Solemn Liturgy where we remember Christ’s suffering, crucifixion and death with a service of Scripture, music and ancient prayer. Available in-person and online.

Beginning at 10:30am, a procession will carry the cross from St. Paul's Anglican Church on Queen Street to the steps of the Cathedral. During the 11am service, the cross will be carried into the Cathedral. All are invited to participate (even if you cannot assist in carrying).
