In this Easter week, we celebrate our youth choristers with various awards celebrating their growth as musicians, people, and key members in our liturgical fabric here at St George's. We are blessed each week with the gifts they share. If you know a child you loves to sing, get in touch with Brad Barbeau (music@stgeorgescathedral.ca). The Chorister Programme provides top-tier, barrier-free musical education to children from the Cathedral community and well beyond.

The Bishop's Award (to a chorister who has exhibited tremendous musical growth): Dylan

The Dean's Award (to a chorister who has exhibited liturgical prowess): Elliot

The St Cecelia Award (awarded to a female chorister who has exhibited tremendous growth): Riley

The Head Choristers: Florence and James

Florence is the first female Head Chorister in the history of St George's Cathedral.

Bless, O Lord, us thy servants,
who minister in thy temple.
Grant that what we sing with our lips,
we may believe in our hearts,
and what we believe in our hearts,
we may show forth in our lives.
Through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
