Pruning of our Apple Tree: We have been advised that the apple tree on our Johnson Street lawn is in dire need of pruning. The crop of apples has diminished considerably over the years due to lack of pruning. I was contacted by Don Taylor of Kingston, who along with others, has enjoyed the apples from our tree over the years. He has very generously offered to pay for a professional tree surgeon to come and prune our apple tree, to make it productive again. We have accepted his generous offer. The pruning, which must be done before spring, is scheduled for Monday, March 24th. Thank you to Don Taylor!
