Shrove Tuesday & Ash Wednesday

We enter into the Lent season with a great community feast and solemn services of Holy Eucharist.

Choral Evensong
Saturday, March 8 – 3pm

Join the Cathedral Choir and Ottawa's Caelis Academy Ensemble for this service of sung evening prayer. Choirmaster Brad Barbeau and organist Matthew Larkin lead the choirs in singing works by Herbert Howells: The St. Paul's Service and Like as the Hart. A beautiful way to conclude the day, this service is only 45-minutes long and is a perfect way to prayerfully begin your Lenten journey.

Lenten Reflections

This Lenten journey is one which we travel together, and Cathedral clergy and congregants offer written reflections each day to guide us. The reflections package will be posted on Ash Wednesday, March 5.

To receive these reflections directly to your email each day, scroll to the bottom of this page, enter your email where it says 'sign up for our newsletter,' and select 'Lenten Reflections'.
Bible Study: Sacrifice & Salvation

The Rev. Gerry Moore invites you to a midday Bible Study in the Cathedral Library on Wednesday's at 1pm, March 19/26 and April 2/9.  No registration or knowledge necessary!
